Beth Allan

Beth Allan is a photographer with a passion for making photographs that showcase the beauty and the awesome power of the worst weather on the planet. She has been chasing storms for almost 10 years and her pursuit of terrible weather has allowed her to photograph supercell thunderstorms and tornadoes on the American Plains, monsoon lightning and haboob dust storms in Arizona and New Mexico, spectacular hailstorms, supercell thunderstorms, and tornadoes on the Canadian Prairies, katabatic wind-driven blizzards in the Antarctic, and more. Beth has been named a Huffington Post Photographer of the Month, has been featured on national and international news features, was selected for publication in Canadian Geographic’s Canada 150 Special Edition book, and has timelapse photography work featured in CBC’s upcoming special miniseries “Wild Canadian Year.”
